A wild and wet day in parts of the UK and a lot of rain is forecast at York, we will try to solve the puzzle of 2 big field handicaps there.
The meeting at Newmarket is dominated by top quality 2 year old races, one for the purists and there is also NH at Newton Abbot and AW at Wolverhampton and some Irish action. It is the last meeting of the season at Newton Abbot, and mostly "summer jumpers" so we will wait for the mud-lovers at Chepstow tomorrow.
