Friday 20th July

There is the usual glut of Friday afternoon and evening Fixtures and a lot of small fields again, but the rarity of the probability of some significant rain possible in most parts of the Country. How much arrives and what impact it has is anyone guess, I think the best we can hope for is that it "takes the sting out of the firm ground" for a few days at least.

The one track where I think we can be sure of something a bit more significant and the chance of some genuinely Good Going, if not a touch of soft, is at Hamilton Park; they stage the biggest and best race of the day, THE SCOTTISH STEWARDS CUP, so we will have a proper bash at that with Michael and his SHOWCASE Feature.
