Friday 21st September
Good Morning
We are deliberately and un-apologetically reducing stakes/selections until the National Hunt season starts, apart from some of the better Class meetings, when we feel there is a confident angle to exploit. The Cards today offer a few nice races and we will try to search out some value in the BRONZE CUP at Ayr. I am due to be at Newton Abbot later where we have sponsored a race for Chris to celebrate her birthday, it is not an official SP2A race, but a kind gesture by The Course as we have a series of races lined up there for 2019 and there will be plenty of opportunities for Members to attend as our Guests as part of The Racing Club, and at a number of other venues too, geographically spread from Newton Abbot to Fontwell and Pontefract to Musselburgh (9 tracks in total).More on that next week.
There was a lot of rain in the South West yesterday, quite how much found its way up to Newton Abbot I'm not yet sure, it was like a Monsoon in the deep west of Cornwall; so with ground variables we will focus on the BRONZE CUP at Ayr, where we can be sure it is soft at best bordering heavy and we have possibly got some draw and pace angles from yesterday. Tips from PLACESPOTTER were mailed out by 7.45am and online by 8.00am
