Friday 21st September

Good Morning

The bout of placed horses continued with Silvery Moon; advised at 11/2 and Carnageo; advised at 15/2; both in an each way Patent; finishing 2nd, that followed horses advised at 20/1 and 10/1 from a Patent on Wednesday also placing. Magic City was close enough at the finish a length off a place but never really threatening to win, and Bodacious Name ran very well for a long way, tiring in the final 200 yards. Close but not close enough and when the winners are flowing, those placed horses drop in on the nod or luck in running, when you are not in form you just have to weather the storm, it's not like many, if any; are finishing out the back of the TV, like they were on the bone hard ground in the summer.

We are deliberately and un-apologetically reducing stakes/selections until the National Hunt season starts, apart from some of the better Class meetings, when we feel there is a confident angle to exploit. The Cards today offer a few nice races and we will try to search out some value in the BRONZE CUP at Ayr. I am due to be at Newton Abbot later where we have sponsored a race for Chris to celebrate her birthday, it is not an official SP2A race, but a kind gesture by The Course as we have a series of races lined up there for 2019 and there will be plenty of opportunities for Members to attend as our Guests as part of The Racing Club, and at a number of other venues too, geographically spread from Newton Abbot to Fontwell and Pontefract to Musselburgh (9 tracks in total).More on that next week.

There was a lot of rain in the South West yesterday, quite how much found its way up to Newton Abbot I'm not yet sure, it was like a Monsoon in the deep west of Cornwall; so with ground variables we will focus on the BRONZE CUP at Ayr, where we can be sure it is soft at best bordering heavy and we have possibly got some draw and pace angles from yesterday. Tips from PLACESPOTTER were mailed out by 7.45am and online by 8.00am

The Elite Tips from David, no doubt including the AYR GOLD CUP and possibly another race, and a couple of DAILY TIPS from Michael and The Advisor, will be mailed out tonight at around 11pm and the FREE Speedway tips which have delivered 7 outright winners from 8 rounds, over 100 points net profit and an ROI close to 145% to 1 point each way level stakes; will be online at around 8pm (once betting markets have developed after the draw) and I will add a link to the evening Horse Racing mail.
