Friday 7th September

Good Morning

A bit of a mish-mash of Fixtures today with Flat Turf action at Ascot ; Haydock and Musselburgh AW at Kempton and Newcastle and two Irish Fixtures.

A fair bit of rain about yesterday, it came in earlier than forecast and certainly caught us out at Haydock Park (not for the first time); so a bit of caution with any track that says Good or Good to Firm over the weekend, although the South East; I am told, has remained pretty dry; and once past Taunton, little sign of rain in the South West on the way down last night.

We will focus on the big 20 runner Handicap at Ascot and a couple of decent Handicaps at Haydock today plus a pointer as to some "strategy" we intend to follow in the coming weeks.

Tips are from THE PREOFESSOR at Ascot; PLACESPOTTER at Haydock and we also have a mention at nice odds there too.

That's all for today. DISAPPOINTING yesterday, as mentioned, the ground went against MIN BEAU VISAGE although it did nab 4th for anyone backing each way to enhanced places, INDIAN REEL similarly picked up some nice pace shrapnel to enhanced place odds at Sedgefield where Midnight Queen was travelling very nicely before falling and MQ will be tracked. The Mentions did not deliver although Mr Sundowner ran very well for a long way at BIG Odds and does look worth following closely.

On to the weekend and we have "ongoing" Golf Tips from Kevin who will update Golf Subscribers if and when anything to report; we have GP Speedway tomorrow and it is David's turn this weekend to do the tips and analysis, no doubt he will be looking for another 20-22/1 winner for us like we found last time and we will have ELITE + DAILY Horse Racing tips also.

It was also great to see Speculate 2 Accumulate get a very positive mention in a 2 page article in the Speedway Star magazine this week, courtesy of Tom Brennan who we sponsor. This may not mean much to many, but in terms of "brand awareness" it is very significant as it is permeating in to Horse Racing too, and with little or no Advertising Budget as one of our core beliefs, brand is vital to us. The more Members we attract from "brand" across sports, the more we can keep costs down and pass that on to Horse Racing Clients in the form of static pricing, which WILL continue to the end of 2019 (having been static and indeed reduced since 2015) and also special offers and perks. IF ONLY I could find a jockey to sponsor; who is as Sponsor friendly; respectful and articulate as Tom, and as realistic, but we will keep searching.
