Monday 10th December

There is NH at Lingfield (Heavy) and Musselburgh (Good) today and AW at Wolverhampton.

Nothing outstanding; but Robin has one for a small bet at Musselburgh and some news of an SP2A RACING CLUB acquisition.

A decent enough runner up place for Eaton Miller yesterday advised at 14/1. The big frustration was the fall of LOOKING WELL in the Borders National. It had jumped superbly all the way, looked easily the most likely winner and still cruising when falling 3 out, would it have won??, we'll never know but has proven stamina and a progressive horse; who you feel just needs everything to click. I think that "just needs everything to click" summation probably best sums SP2A up at the moment; enough decent priced placed horses to have me honestly believe that we are about to burst in to a run of form like late 2017 and right the way up to mid June 2018, sometimes you need the luck though, and we aren't having any, when luck comes it tends to come like buses and we await our turn. We probably need one to come to the last 30 lengths down and have the leader slip up (hopefully unhurt of course); that's the way the racing game goes.
