Monday 20th August

There is racing today on the Flat at Leicester; Thirsk and Windsor; some NH at Bangor On Dee and an Irish meeting too. A smattering of decent races, a lot of competitive lower Grade Handicaps and with some decent Going, a number of decent punting opportunities. Having endured week after week of small fields and few options, we will push to boat out a bit today, whilst conditions are favourable, and try to continue what has been a decent few days with winners at 14/1 and 9/1 three times since Wednesday.

There may be a drier spell coming, but with a lack of heat and the start of the "dew season" I think that the next 8-10 weeks on The Flat could be the best of the year, in terms of big fields, competitive racing and genuine value opportunities.

We have tips from Placespotter and The Advisor at Thirsk and Mentions there and also at Leicester and Bangor On Dee.

That's all for today, we had no joy with 2 small punts yesterday, Dance Diva ran well but unplaced and had it not fallen, COISA BLANCO may well have placed as it was making notable headway out wide before "guessing" at 3 out, I'm confident having watched the race it would have placed at least, at 20/1 early, a nice return possibly lost, and one we will track.

Back with more tomorrow plus a look ahead to York and our plans there.

Finally, another cracking GOLF WINNER for Kevin, Snedeker lead from pillar to post and Webb Simpson came up on the rails for a 1-2, not the first 1-2 either in this golden run, and I know from messages that all who have joined the Golf service are delighted with the form from Kevin, and also the very detailed analysis and "in play" punts. If anyone fancies a look at the Golf; have a look at the website under "Tipping Services"
