Monday 26th November

There is NH Racing at Kempton; Ludlow and Musselburgh today, all on "Good Going: mostly small fields and pretty mediocre.

We had a long detailed look at a couple of races; both 3 milers at Musselburgh in the 12.45 and Kempton in the 3.10, but nothing of value stands out that we could tip wth the required degree of confidence.

There is significant rain due across most parts of the UK this week, much needed and after which we should be pretty much set fair with proper "winter ground" everywhere, fitter horses as a result and generally bigger and more competitive fields, and certainly later in the week a lot to look forwards to. I think today would be a "tip for the sake of it" kind of day, so best to abstain.

We were unlucky to see Gonnabegood just fail to get up at Exeter yesterday, those who took the 5th place option with a couple of Bookies highlighted on the Tips Chart, would have had a nice 33/1 advised and 25/1 SP place with Tactical Manouvre, that WONT be classed as a place in Results as the enhancement was with just a few Bookies. Discay and Zayfire Aramis ran well enough but both faded at the business end, the latter in particular should be tracked. The Troytown remains a mystery to us, having cracked The Tyestes and Irish National big style in recent seasons, we will have to wait for another year to crack the Navan showcase race.

Back tomorrow when options and value look brighter, at around 8.30am.
