Monday 6th August

Good Morning;

There is a nice mixture of action today with a couple of decent Irish Fixtures (I think it is a Bank Holiday there?) at Cork and The Curragh, and a big field race at Cork with enhanced place Odds and a nice 6 furlong Sprint at The Curragh, give us some real value opportunities. It has been blindingly hot down in Devon over the weekend, once eary cloud has burned off, so despite rain last week; I think Newton Abbot will ride a little firmer than "Good" so we will have a dart there in the Long Distance race at 4.50, see if we can take on a Skelton favourite, which seemed to be the thing to do yesterday at Market Rasen. The Flat Cards at Windsor and Ripon look moderate and uninspiring, and as welcome as the "ladies jockey only" meeting is at Carlisle, an annual event, it has had a habit over the years of throwing up some very strange results.

We have selections from Michael G at Cork, from Placespotter at The Curragh and Robin at Newton Abbot.

I have an extensive News Update concerning future strategies (which are changing) and some significant changes and additions to our Administration and Support Team Structure (which are being significantly ramped up to free up my time by about 80%), and I will send that NEWS only update out at around 4.30pm today, if you wish to read you will be most welcome, if not, feel free to ignore/delete.

Back with more tips tomorrow and also an SP2A Racing Club update tomorrow afternoon and a Results Update on Wednesday afternoon.
