Monday 8th October

There is very moderate racing today at Pontefract; Windsor; Stratford (Jumps); Kempton (AW) and Tipperary.

We have identified a few competitive low-grade Handicaps, where soft ground / draw bias, provides some small punting opportunities, but to lowest 'mention" stakes. There is better racing scheduled for Newmarket and York later on in the week and some nice NH meetings at Ludlow; Exeter and Chepstow too for Robin and The Advisor to consider.

The "mentions" today come from Michael. I had a few mails on Saturday asking why Michael did not do the Saturday tips and Ian (as Placespotter did); after we had announced Michael would do them and Ian was stopping tipping for a while. The reason is that Michael was unexpectedly otherwise occupied with work on Friday afternoon/evening, Ian was available; and the results we hope would stop any moans about changing plans at late notice. David will be back for Elite Service every Saturday now for the foreseeable future and we will continue to issue Saturday tips on a Friday evening until the end of October. 

Mentions today with analysis are in the 4.10 at Pontefract and the 4.00 and 5.05 at Windsor.
