Saturday 7th July

Good Morning

The paucity of decent field big race Handicaps today is probably masked by other events at 3pm that will grip the Nations interest far more!

The fact is that we are seeing a real impact now from the dry weather and Firm Going and many Trainers are unwilling to risk horses on Going, where Racing is becoming a bit of a lottery, as horses simply won't let themselves down, as they feel the "sting and pain" in their fragile legs off the hard turf. We will look more in to this with an article endorsed by a Trainer who I spoke to last week, which will hopefully prove informative and helpful; where he explains the physical affect on his horses of the Going and heat exhaustion racing and travelling, and the steps taken to improve the situation.

We have ELITE SERVICE Tips from David from the 2 biggest Handicaps of the day at Haydock and Sandown.

There is poor Racing at Ayr tomorrow and nothing of note in Ireland, there are a couple of decent NH races at Market Rasen though and I will have a look at those in the morning. Tips will be a bit earlier than usual for a Sunday at around 8.00am

THE OFFICE will CLOSE at 9am today and Re-Open at 8.00am tomorrow morning.
