We had a much better day yesterday across both services, and but for a little bit of lady luck it could have been an exceptional day.
The Elite Service has been in great form since Michael stepped in to the hot seat and delivered a winner in YALTA backed in from 11/2 to 3/1
to win at Newmarket. At Newbury, LIGHTNING SPEAR advised at 20/1 was desperately unlucky to lose on the nod at 16/1, a great piece of
analysis by Michael to spot the record of the horse fresh and at Newbury and although it may not replicate that form next time, a decent place
effort and some nice each way profit and if you took the advice to back to 5th place with SkyBet then Deauville at 16/1 would have boosted
the coffers too. The Daily Tipsters have had a tough week; but bounced back with COMMUNIQUE (a mention) advised at 9/1 winning at 7/1;
HELOVAPLAN (a tip) advised at 5/1, winning at 7/2 and then we must mention LEXINGTON TIMES. It was left a good 10 lengths in the Stalls;
made up ground stealthily, came with a run at the furlong pole; the door was partially shut (personally I think momentum would have got him
through it); was switched and finished like a bullet. A runner up at 20/1, spotted off a good handicap mark. Had it broken just level; I think it
would have won by 5-6 lengths, sadly a bit of each way money and not a second 20/1 winner on the day (if Lightning Spear had prevailed);
those are the very fine margins, but great to be back winning and placing!. I fear the handicap mark on both Lightning Spear and Lexington
Ties will now be blown for a while, but there will be more like them and we will certainly seek to find and exploit them, starting today.
We have no tips as such today but 3 nice priced "Mentions" for 50% stakes each way running at Ripon.
