Wednesday 14th November

There is a feast of National Hunt Racing today at Ayr, Bangor On Dee; Exeter and Fairyhourse and an AW Fixture at Kempton.

After a wait for some rain we have decent winter conditions at Ayr, Good To Soft to Soft elsewhere. It is a fact though that many Yards are still 2-3 weeks behind where they would normally be, never better evidenced by the number of seasonal debutants at Exeter on a Card we usually find a big priced winner at, where this time last year most were having 2nd, even 3rd run of the season. We have had winners on 5 successive days and one theme of those has been race fitness; so we will again look at that angle today.

We have selections from The AdvsIor and Robin at Ayr and from Michael at Bangor and a couple of Mentions at Exeter.

That's all for today, a nice winner with NEACHELLS BRIDGE yesterday, the 13/2 quickly dissipated to 5/1 by 9am and then it was steadily backed, KEEL OVER ran a place for those who backed each way and although Shadows Boy ran poorly, I know a few had a forecast up (we suggested Tricast) on MISS MASH and 25/1 winner SAMSONS REACH, kicking ourselves to be honest for not tipping that as it was clear 2nd rated (hence the Tricast) and if frustrating to miss it, bodes very well for the confidence returning to all the Tipsters, who are all now chipping in, after we have finally got some decent NH and better conditions to have a bash at.

We have gone for 5 tips in total today as fields at Ludlow and Taunton tomorrow may be compromised if Going is too fast, although we will look in the morning, and at Clonmel and also Southwell AW.

An update on Racing Club Entries will be on the website later and linked to the mail in the morning.
