Wednesday 18th July

Good Morning

We have Flat Turf Racing today at Catterick; Yarmouth and Lingfield (part AW too) and AW at Wolverhampton. There is NH at Uttoxeter and Irish action too. Having looked at all of the Cards in depth, we will focus on ONE RACE at Uttoxeter.

A small net profit yesterday courtesy of a bold and brave ride on SEMANA SANTA down the near side rail at Thirsk, it probably deserved more than a 4th place (paid by all Bookies) at an SP of 16/1; and set the race up for the winner, the only one to follow the bold choice of sides. We didn't find a win or place with Millen Dollar Man at Worcester but true to recent trends and luck, the main danger and identified as being exceptionally well handicapped; RUARAIDH HUGH romped home under another good ride at 11/1 and again a feeling of "so near so far"; on another day we'd probably have had 2 in the race and that would have been the second pick.

We will be back with another look tomorrow and a reminder that the FREE BRITISH OPEN Golf Tips will be issued to those SP2A Members who don't subscribe normally to Golf at around 2pm today - Kevin will mail the Golf Subscribers directly at around 9.00am.
