Ayr 2.30

Ayr 2.30 4 Circuitous @ 7/1 / 7 Bunce @ 11/1 (1/2 point e/w each horse)

I used to look at Ayr and just turn over the page as the fact is a lot of these horses race each other 10-12
times a season and the form-lines can be baffling. However, after chatting at length to Ian over the winter, he has shown
me a bit of a new angle here and it seems to have worked well for me this summer, so lets take it in to the 2.30 race.
These low grade races can see horses "win in turn" and in recent weeks Sea Of Green and Racquet have had nice wins;
if you look at the collateral form though those wins and penalties put Sea Of Green in particular at a big disadvantage

today with CIRCUITOUS; Goninodaethat and BUNCE on a number of recent runs featuring these horses.

CIRCUITOUS gets a pull of around a stone with Sea Of Green for a few lengths and that is too good to miss for
this Course specialist from the Dalgleish yard, my only slight concern is the draw in 11, but it has time to get a
good position in the favoured middle to low side of the Course. You can never rule out Goninodaethat here but
he has had a win already this season, and always seems more dangerous the higher the price, he can run well
but BUNCE is becoming dangerously well handicapped and local Course Trainer Linda Perratt has her horses
in better nick now than at any time so far this summer. BUNCE has a nice draw and a 10 lbs pull with Raquet
for a decent run. My strategy therefore is to take a horse from races won by both of the market principles who
are too well in with those favourites to ignore. Lets hope the strategy works again for us.
