Hot 2 Trot - Cheltenham 4.05 3 The Tourard Man - each way at 16/1

At Cheltenham in the 4.05 our old favourite THE TOURARD MAN looks

very appealing at 16/1 on the basis of his Hurdles Form, and that is the key

to this horse. I don't know why, and I suspect Alan King is scratching his

head too, but this tough durable relentless galloper, just has not clicked

over Chase Fences. He went very sour last season early on, until they

reverted back to Hurdles and after a few runs he found his spark again.

He was good enough to place at the Festival in 2015 off this mark at this

trip and when you look at the field today, its not hard to see him loving the

likely pace and running on to a place at least, if he does, then maybe another

long distance Hurdle campaign beckons, on the basis of that Chase form,

I feel the bookies have over-priced him, so when H2T came to the same

conclusion it seemed folly not to put him up.
