The opening race at York is if anything more competitive than the Ebor, the likes of Snoano;
Imshivalla; Ode To Evening and Dark Red all have strong claims and will be big dangers.
CHANCERY though arrives from an in form yard off a very competitive handicap mark
with a Course and Distance win and soft ground form too and looks solid each way material.
The top weight is more speculative but BATALLION is eased in class here, is fresh and still
has scope to recover some 2015 form that would see it VERY competitive off this mark and
William Haggas targets the meeting and the more rain, the better, no long shot on form!
