A tough and very competitive race which I narrowed down to the 3 ultimate selections and also Embour (suspicion is this trip just stretches its stamina and not a race to be "hanging on" at the finish): Buridan (very impressive last week but run in intense heat and not a lot of time to recover and may not be able to get easy lead here); Stormbringer(been coming to win races at 7 furlongs but just not getting home so a big danger); Foxtrot Lady (last run can be marked up as came from off the pace, live e/w chance) and Savalas (decent each way chance on form). 

The logic for the 3 selections though is TRIBAL QUEST who has Course and Distance form, a high draw which is usually the place to be here and last win has been franked and could turn out to be something better than a top class handicapper. ROUSSEL stable mate of Tribal Quest conversely takes a significant drop in Class in to a Handicap and has more than enough proven form to be very competitive at this level and 14/1 seems overpriced and finally JAWAAL who also gets a high draw and another who was disadvantaged in the York race last time, caught off the pace in the wrong part of the track, has proven stamina and biggest danger to the Godolphin pair.

I will play a TRICAST on those three and if you want a fourth as biggest danger; I would just nominate Kevin Ryan's STORMBRINGER for the Perm.
