Cheltenham 1.50

Cheltenham 1.50, if THE YOUNG MASTER runs it would be an incredible Training performance to win successive days, the expectation is it will be a non runner. COGRY is a standing dish here, gets the trip but just a niggle in my eyes that the drying Good ground may be a bit too good and may mean they go that 1/2 yard faster and jumping issues come in to play. A bold run is expected though. The Northern raider SHARP RESPONSE was mightily impressive at Carlisle and I love the Yard but just a doubt about the 11lbs rise in this tougher contest, and of the rest SINGLEFARMPAYMENT would be one for the Tricast, likely to be bang there, not sure that the price is value though on seasonal debut and for a horse that should have won more races than it has.

I will go with CALLET MAD who should come on for seasonal debut behind stablemate Cogry, I think this trip will bring out the best in him and can improve over it, the ground is not an issue and has nice Course and Distance profile. DOING FINE has also had a run, at face value a poor one, but they switch headgear today and with stamina assured and best runs on the type of surface and good CD profile on Old and New Courses, I think a decent each way punt off a nice mark.
