York 5.35

York 5.35 16 Lagenda @ 14/1 / 6 Qeyaadah @ 12/1 - both 1/2 point each way (SkyBet odds to 5th - all others to 4th)

A very competitive 7 Furlong handicap and a number as you would imagine with good chances. The likes
of Mujassam; Twin Appeal; Instant Attraction and Heir To A Throne are well handicapped and hard to discount but again a process
of elimination narrowed it down to a select 4. Dark Intention arrives in great form and could win again but that is a tough call in
such a competitive race and it is 4th on the list. The two selected are LAGENDA and QEYAADAH. Lagenda deserves one of
these for a solid run of form, gets this trip and a bit further and should be running in to contention from the 2 furlong pole; the
fact that it is very well handicapped with Dark Intention on 2 separate pieces of collateral form gives it the nod. QEYAADAH
runs for Mick Appleby; his horses are always super fit and so suited to long sweeping tracks and straights and big fields;
the booking of SDS catches the eye, so BOG the price in case he gets "on a roll" and despite not much York form, it looks
ideally suited to this type of track. The shrapnel horse here comes from one of my favourite yards (John Mackie) I noted
CUSTARD THE DRAGON in my tracker last week after a pleasing reappearance in the race won by Shady McCoy; and
I think that winner is probably better over shorter, but a danger, but CTD gets a big pull; should come on for the run if it
is not too soon and the 25/1 with Paddy Power and 20's generally; looks worth a small investment. All Bookies odds to 4th
and as is the norm SkyBet go the extra place to 5th.
