Bangor 4.20

The Advisor - Bangor On Dee 4.20 5 Derintoher Yank - 1 point each way @ 12/1 (BEST 14/1 Lads)

DERINTOHER YANK is a horse that has been running prominently over trips up to 2 and a half miles;
the introduction of a hood and drop down to a trip of 2 miles and a furlong here is therefore very interesting; especially
given the Course Form of Donald McCain, especially with this emerging jockey. (I do like stablemate William Of Orange
and highly rate Wayne Hutchinson, who I always felt missed the boat hanging round for Choc Thornton to retire when
WH was No 2 at Alan King's but think William Of Orange will need this run today based on past return from breaks).
DERINTOHER YANK has won at this trip and also at Carlisle over further off a mark of 120 and best form was last Autumn;
so this may be the time to catch him right and the price is appealing. He looks well handicapped off a mark of 115 here and
not hard to visualise it running prominently and then using proven stamina to kick from the front on this quirky track where
the proven ability to handle the twists and turns is another big asset.
