The Advisor - Newmarket 3.45 16 Gold Faith at 18/1 each way (odds to 4th)

The Advisor is keen on Gold Faith in the big 12 furlong handicap at Newmarket. He makes the
valid point that whilst many at the top end of the handicap "have shown their hand" by running
well in a series of decent races, and getting handicap marks commensurate with those runs; that
his selection has been aimed at this race by his astute trainer and therefore his real ability;
may have been somewhat hidden. The other interesting factor is that whilst many at the head
of the market are all proven at 10 furlongs, few have the proven 12 furlong form of the selection;
who has won on the summer Course (July Course) here and who reportedly sees 12 furlongs
as a minimum trip. In a fast run race up the Rowley Mile Hill not hard to see Gold Faith staying
on, especially if the 10 furlong types go off a fraction too fast.
