Bank Holiday Tuesday 28th December

We must start with BEN DUNDEE today, runner up at 33/1 and quite where Sean found him. I'm not sure as a very unheralded horse and he did everything but win The Paddy Power Chase at Leopardstown yesterday. Hard to find any fault with the ride by the 7lbs Claimer he was just done very close home by a horse who got a nice lead in the final stages.

No complaints either about the gallant runs by Highland Hunter a runner up at 11/1, Truckers Lodge an excellent 3rd at 28/1 or Secret Reprieve who placed 5th, with only 5 finishing it was no mean feat to find 3 of them and as at Leopardstown just a shame we couldn't find the winner.

For those who could still get paid out on the 5th place at Catterick which was widely available prior to 2 non runners, then a bit of each way shrapnel too for Magic Of milan who finished 5th at 33/1 and we'll certainly be tracking Olivers Island who was going very well when falling earlier in the race and one who looks ready to win again soon.

So near and yet so far but as we have been preaching for 11 years now "if you can't win don't lose" and some seriously solid analysis of those two incredibly tough races to find what we did.

We'll focus on 3 races again today, a pair at Leopardstown, one at Limerick
