Boxing Day - Saturday 26th December

Hopefully everyone is having a good Christmas in a tumultuous year and we can find some nice profit in the coming week to close off 2020.

We continued our recent consistent run of form in the past few weeks on our most recent tipping day, last Tuesday, with Crown Hill a somewhat unlucky loser just done on the line after some clear interference and Jamesaintpatrick a nice and decent priced third place.

Boxing Day is usually a very busy day with 10-11 Meetings, around half of those have been taken off the Calendar this year with Courses rescheduling some for earlier in the month with limited crowds and some held back in the hope that some crowds can attend. With 40% of the population in Tier 4 from today, and probably 80% of the population thinking 100% should be in Lockdown for 4-6 weeks, we are frankly lucky to have any Racing at all, so must embrace what we have.

No denying though today is poor aside from a couple of big races (King George and Rowland Meyrick) and a bit unfathomable in Ireland where almost every race is over shortest NH distances. Far better fare tomorrow (weather permitting) with an excellent Welsh National and better options in Ireland.

We will focus on a pair of bigger field Handicaps today and point out at the end a few in the Trackers who could build into a nice accumulator for you if desired.
