Friday 19th March

We started yesterday with an excellent 12/1 winner with Mrs Milner and some good old fashioned form reading expert Irish analysis from Sean, backed up by 11/2 advised The Bosses Oscar fininsing runner up, and for those who can and do take advantage of the Skybet offers, Dandy Mag coming home 7th at 20/1, the form analysis of when those three met just after Christmas perfectly exposed. Sean believes he has found a similar form line in a race today so fingers crossed he can weave his magic again.

We drew a blank in The Paddy Power Plate, the picks ran well enough but no watch for some more super-charged Irish horses and David did well to find some each way money in The Kim Muir with Shantou Flyer advised at 10/1 and Storm Control advised at 16/1 both picking up some each way money. As we saw on Wednesday, there is value to be found in these handicaps and the adage "if you can't win don't lose, never more relevant.

It's GOLD CUP today, a fascinating renewal and a race to watch and enjoy. We did have some great fun at huge Odds in this race with the likes of The Giant Bolster placed at 100/1 from memory, but in latter years more of a race to watch although I suspect there will be a lot of each way money on Frodon, what a story that would be!!!!!

We'll focus on the 2 big field Handicaps, The County Hurdle where Sean is quite bullish about a form line and the closing race The Martin Pipe which to me looked the toughest race of the week, although a huge punt on the favourite may prove me totally wrong!
