Friday 31st December

Before we move on we'd like to wish you all a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR, hopefully 2022 will bring you all good things and particularly good health, both physical and mental and safety and a degree of positivity and calm in all aspects of your life and those of your nearest and dearest too.

As racing days go yesterday was certainly one of our poorest in a long time, we can maybe discount the awful conditions at Haydock as an excuse but really none of the selections ran anywhere as well as envisaged based on their analysis and a day to forget and hopefully not repeated for a long time.

We all know that racing can and does bite you on the bum at any time, so let's see if we can end 2021 on a higher note.

There is AW at Lingfield, a Card at Punchestown, which has thrown up a few Trackers (at the bottom of the message for those who follow them) and NH in England at Warwick and Uttoxeter. The more competitive Card is at Uttoxeter and I've had a long look at a couple of races there.
