Monday 14th September

A fine run from the reserve Blairmayne yesterday, it ran on very well into 2nd place at 25/1 and had it just gotten out of the pocket on the rail a few yards earlier from behind Royal Canford, it may have made all the difference. Old favourite Mr Lupton though got first run and wasn't going to be caught close home. In the other race Numrian clipped heels a few furlongs out, just lost a bit of momentum and finished 8th, definitely one for the Trackers after that. A small overall loss on the day but when 25/1 pokes run so well, no complaints and we go again today.

Very poor fare in Ireland and in the UK and really we could only find one betting race of note to entice us in, so Michael will try to follow up his winning start, after a long break; last week at Chepstow; in the 1.30 at Thirsk
