Monday 16th May

It was frustrating that Ransom broke out of the Stalls at Naas yesterday as we quietly fancied a big run and he had been nibbled at from a starting point of around 66/1 to around 33/1, he's one we'll keep a close eye on!

No excuses with the run of Coins Cross into third, best of the rest home in a race dominated by a pair berthed in the lowest Stalls.

There is a lot (of welcome) heavy thundery rain today in the Midlands and North, that makes us cautious with going conditions, probably a lot of late non runners although our Northern expert is keen to play a draw angle at Carlisle where the rain could be very heavy at times. We'll also have a bash at the Killarney National.
