Monday 20th June

A decent enough effort by Getaway Cory at Worcester yesterday who found just an emphatic winner better on the day and a promising run too by Black Lightning who maybe needs 2 miles 5/6 furlongs but who went well for a long way. The same can also be said over the Jumps for the ex-Irish Tracker Young Maloney who on its UK debut ran a very strong race running from the front and again just finding one too good but anyone who had a dabble would have had some nice e/w profit at 40/1.

It was disappointing to see The Rutland Rebel never really picking up after holding a good position at Pontefract and with Byron Hill patently not getting the trip a rare disappointing day for our Northern expert.

There is a real mix today with Flat at Ballinrobe, AW at Wolverhampton, the usual tricky Windsor Monday evening Card and Flat at Chepstow and Jumping at Southwell.

We'll have a bash at a Flat Handicap at Chepstow and a Handicap Hurdle at Southwell.
