Monday 22nd February
A nice return yesterday with PISTOL getting home at Newbury with an SP of 14/1 having been widely available at 18/1 and another spot on piece of analysis from Robin. Se Mo Laoch was runner up at Navan but we can have no complaints as if you haven't seen the run of the winner I suggest you go back and admire it, with the jockey riding most of the race with no irons after an equipment failure, absolutely world class. Those who tend to moan when we flag up Skybet and their enhanced places might wish to look away now as enhanced 6th place finishes for Vive Le Roi advised at 25/1 and Hidden Dilemma advised at 28/1 bought in some nice added Net Profit. It's clearly the case that Sky can quickly restrict accounts but it's our job to offer a service that suggests where you can find optimum value and at Tracker rates those 2 selections will have added a further 4-5 points of net profit to the bottom line yesterday.
There is NH at Carlisle, Fairyhouse and Southwell today and AW at Wolverhampton, it looks a trappy Card in Ireland and Southwell is rarely a place we play at, so we'll focus on the final race at Carlisle on soft to heavy and probably churned up Going.
We don't tend to mess around with favourites and short priced horses, certainly don't do "booms" or get ahead of ourselves, but always looking for value so weekend SP winners at 10/1 and 14/1 and a number of big priced placed and enhanced place horses are a definite confidence boost for the busy weeks ahead
