Monday 29th March

A pretty poor set of NH Cards at Fontwell, Stratford and Wincanton and an AW Fixture at Wolverhampton today.

We got the "confidence" factor the wrong way round yesterday with WELL ABOVE PAR and ARD CHROS running well throughout and coming home 1st and 2nd both at 14/1 SP at Carlisle and another juicy forecast if you went down that route. It was disappointing then to see the more confident expectation on McGintys Dream and Caventara both tipped with similar logic and form interpretation as the other pair, failing to deliver with the writing on the wall early in the race. A 14/1 winner and 14/1 runner up and a nice forecast from 4 selected across 2 races though represents net profit to suggested stakes, so we'll move on.

Very little to recommend today, SP2A has never been a fan of Stratford as a Course, little to enthuse over at Fontwell and therefore just one race to point out at Wincanton.

In the final race for Amateur Riders at 4.00, the top pair The Knot is Tied and Kilbrew Boy look very strong and a reverse forecast for minimum stakes may provide some fun for those that like something to bet on. If there is anything at a nice each way price for a small shrapnel e/w single bet it's probably JENNYS DAY who has run well enough at this trip a few times to suggest that dropping down from 3 miles is probably the right move, pulled up last twice when being pretty prominent at this point of the race.

As it's a quiet day website will be OFFLINE from 10am to 4pm today and tomorrow for us to update all 2021 results and add in a Blog Page with the Cheltenham Tables now on the News Page and also to enable some previews for Members prior to Aintree / Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood.
