It's always nice to start a big Festival Meeting with a winner so to see OXTED romp home at 4/1 (advised and widely available early at 9/1) was a welcome start. I suppose you could gripe it was a Tracker and not a tip and the same could be said of ARECIBO who flew home from near last to runner up who was the "shrapnel" horse advised at 33/1 and returning a 28/1 SP.

 

Not so good in the other race but those who took the enhanced place offers from Sky / WH / PP will have enjoyed an enhanced 6th place on Coeur De Lion at 22/1 SP and with Trumpet Man a non runner (the tip) an each way return on the race.

 

A bit of a connoisseurs day at Ascot today so we'll focus on ONE race and what a race the 30 runner ROYAL HUNT CUP a race in which we have an excellent record and David has done his usual in-depth analysis on this one
