Saturday 13th March

In a week when despite there being very few punting options we managed to find Super Citizen on Monday and Westend Theatre to win at SP's of 20/1 or more, but took a bit of flak for not making them more specific, and found three to place at 16/1 of more from four selections on Thursday, there was a renewed feeling of confidence in the camp and Sean found a nice 20/1 winner yesterday with Chenery to further substantiate that and for those who took or had access to the suggested Bookies offering 5th place Odds a further nice placed effort from Lady McCabe at 33/1.

The fact that the tip lost is frustrating but with 20/1 , 20/1 and 22/1 winners in 5 days and 16/1, 18/1 , 20/1 and 33/1 places in the same spell, the feeling of doom and gloom, after an inconsistent few months, is hopefully being replaced by a more positive meme, just at the right time and these prices are to SP too, not some fanciful advised odds that no-one can obtain.

There is NH at Sandown, Ayr; Hereford and Navan today, some AW too, frankly though inexplicable why ITV4 waste electricity on an AW Fixture at Wolverhampton where a "Lincoln Trial" as about as much value and relevance to the real deal, a straight mile on Turf at Doncaster, as England playing a game of shinty before a T20 Cricket Final.

Onwards to Cheltenham then, a stop off today for David at The Imperial Cup at Sandown and for The Advisor in a race he fancies at Ayr. We'll have a few pokes tomorrow at Warwick and in Ireland, where options look better than today in terms of big field handicaps, possibly a few tips on Monday, and then on to Cheltenham.

Cheltenham from Tuesday to Friday we'll have all tips; analysis and information mailed out by no later than 9.30am each day but aim where possible for 9.00am

On to today and over to David and The Advisor.
