Saturday 17th October

A decent enough outcome to the sole tip race yesterday, we couldn't quite find the winner with ANYWAYOULOOKATIT making a bold big, in with every chance until the final 100 yards, no disgrace in being runner up at 11/1, especially if you had the win saver on Easy Bucks, those pair finishing a street ahead of the rest. If we keep chipping away in the style of the past week over the Jumps the signs are very good for a successful winter, winners and placed horses and the analysis usually pretty accurate.
As indicated we think that the 1.50 race will throw up a host of winners, nothing to change out opinion on that and a race we'll come back to time and time again.
The obvious focus today will be on the CHAMPIONS DAY at Ascot, we'll say what we say every year, it's far too late in the Calendar and again held on soft/heavy Going, but it has been a happy hunting ground, who can forget Donjuan Triumphant winning at 33/1 for us last year.
The rest of the Turf Flat looks moderate away from Ascot, the NH at Market Rasen and Stratford, a pair of quirky summer jumping tracks where form rarely transfers outside of the Courses own bubble and a difficult looking day in Ireland, means we'll focus on a pair of Ascot Races.
Plenty to look forward to tomorrow though with Sean in Ireland and Ian and Robin at Ffos Llas.
David has had a difficult time with wonky internet and lost his full analysis at the 11th hour last night. He has managed to re-create the tips and their assessments, and we are very grateful to him for that, so not the fully analysis as usual this week, but the ultimate selections not affected. We also have the thoughts of The Advisor on the big Sprint race that we cracked at 33/1 last's hoping lightning strikes twice.
