Saturday 20th June

A fine win for Scarlet Dragon yesterday at 33/1, given a fantastic ride by Hollie Doyle and I think looking back on the 4 winners of the last 4 races we've tipped in, Dark Vision, Mountain Angel and Khaloosy, the wins were all down to the tactical expertise of the jockey and the ability to optimise the opportunity. Too many people are too quick to criticise failure, looking for the easy target, and too many go completely OTT at the first sign of any success, so hats off to those Jockey's and lets just crack on quietly and calmly as we always do.

You are only ever as good as your last winner and with some "same age" races and frankly disappointing fields in races we would normally attack, we will show some flexibility and focus on 2 big field races today, the Silver Wokingham at 12.40 and the "full monty" proper Wokingham at 4.10. which gets the Elite Service treatment from David.

I think 2 points to make specific to today, the Going is officially Good on the Straight Course, and whilst we can't argue with that we know the Course rides very well, it's hard to believe it is anything other than Good with a bit of cut. The other fact is "the draw" it's had a middle to high bias ALL week. The meeting has a track record of the draw completely changing bias at some stage, it may be today and something to watch out for as the day goes on!
