The decision to focus on a couple of moderate races away from the main TV action paid off yesterday and could quite easily have had a better return than it did. FROG AND TOAD won nicely at Thirsk at 13/2 advised at 15/2 and Mackie Dee, advised at 20/1 was a runner up at 15/2 and Time Leader, the tip advised at 13/2 was placed 3rd at Uttoxeter.  Mackie Dee ran a fine race and came to win it but probably got to the front a bit too soon and easily and was just mugged on the line.

 

Having had a very consistent run of some wins and a lot of places we seem to have hit a bit of a marmite spell, good one day, poor the next, but as long as the winners keep coming that's the objective and if we can just eradicate the losing days and turn them into breakeven days at worst, so much the better. 

 

There are 4 Fixtures today, Nothing of any real interest at Stratford or Killarney, Sean is keen on a punt in the final race at Naas and a few thoughts from our Northern expert at Ripon. There are a couple of NH Trackers at Killarney and one at Ripon.
