Sunday 2nd January

A frustrating day at Cheltenham yesterday, SIMPLY THE BETTS ran a cracker and was perhaps unfortunate to meet an improving and in form Mare when beating everything else home to be runner up and if you grabbed a bit of the enhanced 6th place on offer you'll have had a small return on Galahad Quest. Galahad Quest is definitely one to track onwards and I'm 100% convinced that Deyrann De Carjac is capable of running a very big race sometime soon, possibly back at Cheltenham in March.

Botox Has ran a decent race for a place but the pace in the race did for both Ask Dillon and Spiritofthegames and credit where it's due, David Maxwell, who we and many others have thrown brickbats at in the past rode an excellent patient and waiting race on Dolphin Square to win.

A bit frustrating to have picked the wrong Micky Hammond horse at Catterick, I had a few mails from some Members who'd picked up on the comment and had a small each way on his 3 horses as a result of the analysis so well done to Eileen / Terry and Michael who bagged a nice 40/1 winner with Late Date, of course it wasn't a tip / tracker / shrapnel horse but we do know that some follow the analysis as much as the tips whilst the vast majority follow the tips / trackers / shrapnel at the top of the mail each day and rarely venture down further....it's your service, you pay for it, that's massively appreciated and the aim is to try to offer profit, information, education and an interesting take on races via analysis.

On to today and the highlight is The Sussex National at Plumpton (not to be confused with the Southern National at Fontwell which the Racing Post seems to have done) and we'll have analysis of that trying to follow up a winner in 2 of the last 4 years, and also a look at races at Ayr and Naas and a few Trackers at the bottom of the page.
