It was a bit frustrating to see Island Brave win at Haydock given the analysis and a nice price of 10/1. The style of the run surprised, making all rather than coming late, but a case of a very canny tactical change from an in form yard. The runs of Hochfield and Indianapolis very disappointing. Trinity lake eeeked out a place at 7/1 at Thirsk on a poor day overall.

 

Small fields again today though good to see Fontwell back but small fields there and at Perth over the Jumps and a very poor York Card in terms of quantity but Course standards although a couple of races do attract decent numbers.
