Sunday 8th May

A frustrating day yesterday with sliters of some each way return; from a few horses and Ian will cover off some learning points in the mail in the morning as he's in the chair next week as I'm away on a short break. The high drawn horses had an advantage in The Victoria Cup where River Nymph ran an excellent race at the price, Panic Attack was placed at Haydock and a fe may have got a small return on Neon Moon, whilst in the first tip race of the day HMS President picked up some 4th place enhanced money too. Overall though disappointing was the theme of the day.

There is Flat Racing on ITV 4 from Hamilton as part of their Sunday series, our busy Northern Expert has picked out 2 races from there, although a strong fancy has just been declared a non runner, and we have a short message from Robin about a race at Ludlow. We'll hold fire on Ireland for a few days as Ian will be looking deep into some form for Meetings there on Wednesday and Friday on the Flat.
