Thursday 21st January

A decent start yesterday when the quietly fancied TEQUILA BLAZE advised at 18/1 was a runner up beaten a couple of lengths at 11/1 with the front three well clear. That continued a decent run where when not winning we are picking up those bigger priced placed horses that add a bit to the pot, and something we weren't doing often enough in November time.

Le Boizelo on the other hand was a total disappointment, very well backed after we'd advised at around 10/1, a number of more influential market movers than us got involved later in the morning, I think a horse who is just sour at the minute and may be needs freshening up somehow.

The Meeting at WINCANTON faces an inspection as I write, a small mention of a race there at the end IF it's on. We're a bit surprised Ludlow is on but Robin again looks for big price value there, but we'll start on the AW at Lingfield which at one point we had thought may be the only tip race of the day before Ludlow passed muster.
