Thursday 3rd September

The natural reaction of many when you have winners at 100/1 and 40/1 in races that you have tips in is to just make excuses and claim "lucky winners". At SP2A we have made a nice habit of being the service that finds those big priced winners often enough for it not to be a fluke, so our mindset immediately defaults to "how did we miss that". There are occasions like yesterday though where you have to hold your hands up and say that we could never have spotted any latent form to justify tipping the horse. That's actually better then going back and finding something we should have spotted "e.g us being sloppy" so hats off to anyone who found those winners, well done, we move on to today.

Seven Meetings and hard to find too many decent sized "all aged" Races in the UK, we tend to steer well clear of Haydock unless we can be 100% of the Going and conditions, so we'll watch that meeting closely today for pointers. Salisbury has a good Card but our data indicates our success there usually comes on extremes of Going, especially soft>heavy and as that's not the case today, we'll look at a competitive 1 mile Handicap at Punchestown this afternoon.

Back with 2-3 tip races tomorrow.
