There is some cracking action today, especially at Newmarket (July Course) and at York (always our No 1 favourite Race Track in the UK).

 

There is steady rain forecast for Newmarket, heavier early rain but drying up at York. Both report "Good" Going, both drain well, so we are looking at form on genuinely Good Ground with a bit of cut, possibly Good to Soft. The only horses who may not appreciate conditions are the out and out "hoof rattlers" who need Good to Firm.
