Tuesday 10th July

Good Morning

There is Racing today at Brighton and Pontefract on the Turf/Flat; at Wolverhampton on the AW and at Uttoxeter over the Jumps and racing too in Ireland. There is a decent Class 1 at Pontefract that looks laid out for the market leaders and very little else to enthuse over there or at Brighton. The same applies at Wolverhampton; so we will have a bash at Uttoxeter with a couple in the Tracker who are looking like future winners and also one that really caught my eye, applying some of the Firm Going/Hot Weather logic I discussed yesterday, which based on the feedback, seems to have been well received; certainly as an angle and discussion point.

The tips yesterday went the way they have been for a while, a shade frustrating as MIDNIGHT GEM picked up some each way shrapnel but did not make up for poor runs from the other pair. You will have made a slither of each way profit if you got the available 7/1 on BALKINSTOWN; it was very well backed and ran very well in many ways, the front 2 finishing well clear, but it was no match for the winner, and the frustration was more the gap between the front pair, than the even bigger gap to the rest.

There was some salvation for those that follow the TRICAST perm suggestions, and it seems from feedback like a number of you did, on a quiet day with Acrux; Shouranour and Racemaker coming home 1-2-3 for a £552 Tricast. Whilst we proof these to validate the Tricast we don't record them in Results or count them in Results and we believe probably around 25% of you play them, but a nice return for those that did, and as a result of a few requests we will find out and put up for tomorrow, the detailed Tricast Guide, that we have pointed out a few times. I can't find any obvious Tricast Races today and if and when we can; we will always point them out to you.

We have tips and analysis today from Placespotter in the 7.00 at Uttoxeter and a Mention/Analysis in the 9.00 at Uttoxeter.
