Tuesday 14th May
Another day with stacks of mediocre Racing this time at Beverley; Chepstow on the Flat; Ffos Llas; Southwell and Sedgefield over the Jumps and Tramore and Killarney in Ireland.
A few queries about the Staking yesterday, very valid, the aim this summer is NOT to throw out 4-5 tips on mediocre days "for sake of it" and hope a big price winner saves the day, on days like today IF we are confident, will have full Tips (like today). If not we will either use Trackers or as yesterday select and analyse one race carefully and try to find value.
That certainly worked yesterday as ARNOUL OF METZ ran very well to be runner up at 25/1, a shade unlucky at the furlong pole, but most Tipsters would give their right arm for a 25/1 e/w place at this stage of the season, so we won't complain. I also think GROUNDWORKER is one that's going to win very soon, we will continue to track that one.
Tips from our Yorkshire expert today at Beverley and from Michael at Chepstow, plus some Trackers.
