True Thoughts achieved the minimum objective yesterday with a decent run to finish a widely available enhanced 5th place at 16/1. She just got swallowed up in the final 200 yards or so having run near the front throughout and looking threatening at two out. 

 

We'll have a look at the Haydock Card today where the threat of frost has receded and snow and rain have softened the surface and with some more showery rain about it should be soft, maybe a bit heavier than advertised.

 

The Veterans Chase at 2.50 looks a cracker and there is a competitive looking Handicap Hurdle to close the Card with lots of potentially interesting horses who may need the run but who can pay their way and a lot of pointers to track forwards in the race in the analysis and also an each way tip.
