Wednesday 10th June

A disappointing day at Leopardstown yesterday, not a sniff off a winner or place. It wasn't a great surprise that Lady Savannah won the 4.00, we did indicated we'd looked closely at the horse but all its best form was on softer Going than advertised and for that reason it wasn't picked. The 4.30 race saw 4 horses in the places that simply hadn't been considered as competitive.

On to today and 5 meetings. We looked at the big field final race at NAVAN but it's a minefield, the other race we closely looked at is the Long Distance Class 4 at Pontefract, a type of race there that we do well in, but this looks very competitive today and a higher quality of horse than may be normal in the long distance series there.

We will therefore go to KEMPTON tonight for a Tip from Robin and to Yarmouth for a Tracker. We'll gear up now too for the weekend and Royal Ascot next week and keep an eye on some much needed rain which will be of benefit to take the sting out of the Ground.
