Although Rocket Dancer was a 6/1 winner yesterday (advised 10/1) we can't hide the fact that (a) we got the staking wrong, (b) the other 2 selections didn't deliver at all and (c) we talked ourselves out of Motorayel who was a game runner up at 18/1. Disappointing too at Chepstow. Our Northern expert is clearly in good nick overall though and hopefully we can continue that at York over the next few days.

 

Very sad news this morning that Billesdon Brook, one of our favourite heroines and subject to confident 100/1 tip (returned 66/1 SP) in the 2018 1000 Guineas has sadly passed away having given birth a few weeks ago to a foal, the cause seems to have been a very severe intestinal blockage. She may well have made it into an excellent Mare but we'll never forget that day and she did more than back it up subsequently proving it was no fluke. Rest easy lady and thanks for the memories.
