A decent enough run by Bird On The Wire at Hexham last night, always prominent and delivered a nice place at 10/1 and a perfect example of a bit of value in a tight race, no complaints about the race or the winner. Tralee Hills was a non runner at Nottingham, Wynford was very well backed, (I think put up by one of those Tweeters who people follow off a cliff), but was ultimately disappointing.

 

There is Flat Turf action today at Ayr and Yarmouth, Jumps at Southwell and Warwick (small fields) AW at Kempton and a tricky looking Card at Cork.

 

Experience has taught us not to throw numerous darts in this period on the Flat but to focus on a few cherry picked races if Tipsters are confident they have found some value, so we'll have a bash at a tricky looking Handicap at Ayr where our in-form Northern expert has a very contrarian view in terms of a couple of picks and confident enough to have an investment in them!
