Wednesday 20th January

A very nice runner up run and some excellent analysis from Robin yesterday as Arctic Footprint, advised and widely available at 50/1, went off 25/1, came home runner up at Exeter. It was never going to win, although the winner did veer right off the last jump, but a nice return each way, especially if you were on at 50/1. A number of non runners meant it's highly unlikely you'd have been paid out on the 4th place had In Arrears finished in the 3.45, wisely I think, all but the market leaders were pulled up when chances had gone, to save something for next time.

We expected Chepstow to be Off today but it's passed an early inspection, heavy rain due there though so it may not yet be a "done deal"... if you want a couple of mud lovers with a bit of stamina for your Accumulators then MISS MOLINARI in the 3.15 and HARRY HAZE in the 4.20 might give you a nice e/w run for your money. I would stress very strongly that these are NOT tips.

We'll have a look at 2 races at Newbury, seeking some more value on Soft Going that will surely be Heavy by start time, a lot of furore about this meeting taking place anyway, as they have closed the Covid 19 vaccination Centre for a day, really does beg the question about the kind of PR that once again gives Racing, especially when one Dido Harding is linked to the Course Executive, however, our job is to find profit for you our Members, so with a heavy heart, that's what we'll try to do and hope that you are all staying safe and as well as possible.
