Wednesday 25th November

A very disappointing day in Ireland yesterday.

Hurricane Darwin at 20/1 was going well enough in third when unseating in the Banks race, doubt it would have troubled the leading two but a nice place chance probably went begging. Major Destination was very well backed but flattered to deceive. Carrignagapple was confidently expected to run well, and was very well supported from mid morning by a lot of shrewd money. It made a bad error and lost a shoe in mid race and didn't figure after that. A horse who can win races if tidying up it's jumping and one to track but one we'll always need to get the early morning price on as some shrewdies clearly aware of it too.

A pair of NH Fixtures at Hereford and Wetherby today. Not a lot of races that fit the profile we are looking for but we'll have a bash at one each with the opening race on the Wetherby Card and the long distance Handicap Chase at Wetherby. Tips from Michael at Wetherby and The Advisor at Hereford
