It was a shame that Eskyland was a non runner in the featured race yesterday, they took him out on account of the ground, I can't see any future entries, so one we will keep an eye on. Hearts Are Trumps fell when going OK as the race was just developing, Glan made a bad jumping error 4 out when travelling well and was then pulled up quite quickly as if something was amiss. Jumping is the name of the game and it was not a total surprise to see the old-timer Felix Desjy take advantage of the melees in behind nor with some of the placed horses.

 

With small fields again in the main in the UK due to Good to Firm Going; we'll again pick a couple of races at Punchestown. I haven't had the full notes yet from Sean who seems to have some internet connection issues in his Hotel (he's at the Festival all week) but enough to pass on and I'll put the full notes up on the website when I get them to be read (if you wish) after the Event.
